Which isn’t to say I’m against the idea of “fuck buddies”, as it were, but it rather makes it sound like that’s all you’d want them around for, and someone would have to be mind-numbingly good at sex for me to keep them about in lieu of any other redeeming qualities. … Although to be fair, both Tony and Thor are very, very good at it.

I also tend to avoid mentioning things like romance around Tony. Whenever I do, he gets a bit twitchy, and occasionally runs off to do something stupid.

When I was young enough for it to effect me, making up stories to tell me would be something of a game for the younger members of the court.

Most of the stories agreed that she was a prisoner of the war with Asgard, a king’s prize, though I remember at least one sneering guard taunting that they had simply fallen in love either during or before the war. Some told me she died giving birth to me, others that she killed herself, either just before or after I was born. My father never spoke of her, but then, we rarely spoke at all.

Only one person ever said that she escaped, and left me behind, but that was by far the worst. 

This is also presumably why I’m rather small, for a frost giant.

What, exactly, do you think would constitute a “proper” date for us?
